§ I — Profile

Approach.

Stephan Köhler protects trademarks and products against imitation, litigates under German unfair competition and trademark law, and drafts licence, software and SaaS agreements. Data protection is the second pillar: GDPR implementation, processing agreements, international data transfers and, increasingly, the use of AI systems under the EU AI Act.

He translates technology into contract language and contract language into clear instructions. Cease-and-desist letter, preliminary injunction or negotiation — which route makes commercial sense is settled up front.

§ II — Focus

What we work on in practice.

  • Trademark filing, enforcement and coexistence agreements
  • Unfair competition law: warning letters and preliminary injunctions
  • Licence, software and SaaS agreements
  • GDPR/BDSG: processing agreements, data transfers, data subject rights
  • AI law and obligations under the EU AI Act
